Style Inspiration: Manic Pixie Dream Girls in Film

Only recently have I learned the term “Manic Pixie Dream Girl” which came my inevitable “OOOOOOH, THAT’S WHAT IT’S CALLED”.

The MPDG is basically the girl in movies that you want to be when they first introduce them because they are dreamy and cool. Throughout the book or movie, you slowly realize how fucked up they really are. For instance, Cara D’s character in Paper Towns was recently listed as the newest MPDG in film. ‘Cause yeah, at the beginning, you’re like “How do I become you” then at the end, you just want to makeout with Nat Wolf and give her the finger.

Anyways, I wanted enlighten you guys on Manic Pixie Dream Girls so what better way to do so through Style Inspiration? (They always have the best style…)

Side note: We are trying this new Polyvore thing and we don’t know if we like it yet so….
