This is something I’ve been wanting to talk about for awhile now. On an episode of Rich Kids of Beverly Hills, the gang decides to play a game of “Never Have I Ever”. This is a drinking game where someone will say something that they have never done and if someone in the group has done the spoken deed, they take a sip
or gulp. One of the players said, “Never have I ever sent nudes” and some of the wealthy young adults drank their beverages. In light of Mr. Marc Jacob’s nude picture leak, I decided this would be a perfect topic to address.
The Do’s and Don’ts of Sending Nudes
Do: Do send because YOU want to send them, not because you feel pressured to.
Don’t: Include your face. You want to be able to deny until you die that it’s not you.
Do: Clean up the area around you. You don’t want your messy room or bathroom to take away from your sexiness.
Don’t: Take them when you’re drunk. Your not thinking straight and you’re more likely to regret sending them the next day.
Don’t: Use Snapchat expecting the picture not to be saved. First of all, Snapchat now has that photo (read here). Second of all, there are a bunch of other apps that you can download that save your snaps. Also, screenshot.
Lastly, if you’re photo is ever leaked:
Do: Own up to it and embrace it. You sent it knowing of the consequences a la every celebrity nude that has been leaked. Besides, it’s your beautiful body! #FREETHENIPPLE
Personally, I have sent nudes before. I used to worry because I never knew if one of my exes will decide to seek vengeance on me one day and leak them.
Luckily, I have become quite comfortable with my naked body and have been photographed by photographers in my birthday suit. If a nude of me were to ever surface, I feel like people would be bored because it’s something they have already seen and I wouldn’t be embarassed. Still, maybe it’s something that I would prefer to be kept under wraps. Or with emojis over them.
Can’t go wrong with the dark moon emoji.
